Good News |
Members are able to access FamilySearch Digital Images again from the QFHS Family History Research Centre computers. You may be aware that if you search for Digital Images on FamilySearch from your home computer, you often see sets of records which have a camera icon, surmounted by a key. These images are often available to view at a Family History Affiliate Library, such as the QFHS Family History Research Centre. This service has now been restored to our Library. |
FamilySearch Digital Images are accessible on the FamilySearch website.
Using the Search feature, you can find digital images in Records, the Catalogue, Images, and Books.
Look for a camera icon in the results. Depending on the agreement between FamilySearch and data providers you may be able to view images on your home computer. When that is not possible, you will see a message directing you to a Family History Centre or to an approved Affiliate Library.
Our Society is a FamilySearch Affiliate Library. At our Family History Research Centre you can access FamilySearch images on the QFHS computers.
