QFHS can only undertake research using the resources we can access within our Family History Research Centre. If you require research to be undertaken at another library, archive, or other repository, or you seek to have extensive research done, we suggest you contact a professional researcher.
Professional researchers who are members of QFHS are listed here, but this does not imply that QFHS endorses the commercial activities of the researcher. Any arrangements made between the enquirer and researcher are private matters between those parties.
If you wish to engage a professional researcher, we suggest you contact the person concerned via email, clearly stating the work to be done and requesting an estimate of costs. Fees charged by professional genealogists vary considerably depending on the work required, necessary travel, and reprographics. You should also provide details of the sources you have already accessed.
