Toowong Cemetery Self Guided Walk – Heritage‑listed Toowong Cemetery is the largest cemetery in Queensland. The first burial was of Governor Samuel Blackall on 3 January 1871. Read his and hundreds of other stories about the people who shaped Brisbane, Queensland, and Australia's history.
On your walk you should wear a hat and enclosed shoes, and take a water bottle. Toilets are available at Canon Garland Place within the cemetery - they are not wheel-chair accessible. There are 4 walks to choose from. Meet us at the Office inside the Gates of Toowong Cemetery. Car parking is available inside.
