SLQ holds an extensive collection of resources useful to family history research - but what? And where? Let's go together and find out!
We really don't think our members take full advantage of all the delicious info that places like the Queensland State Library have in their collection - partly because they can seem a bit intimidating if you've never been there before and partly because it can be hard to find the hidden gems.
So we’re gathering as a group to learn together what’s there.
Program:
* 9.30am gather together in the cafe from 9.30am
* 10am-12pm introductions to the collection & tours by SLQ librarians
* Lunch, either BYO or in the SLQ cafe .
* Self-directed research after lunch. Leave when suits you.
