THIS EVENT WILL BE HELD ONLINE AND SOMETIMES ALSO MEETS AT OUR QFHS FAMILY HISTORY RESEARCH CENTRE.
The Central European SIG caters for those whose ancestors were from the former German and Austro-Hungarian Empires and surrounding Central European areas. Our informal meetings usually feature a talk, presentation or workshop relevant to research in the Central European area, with topics such as use of the resources in our QFHS Family History Research Centre, locating towns or villages, reading and deciphering old records written in German or Latin, or finding the correct parish.
