For our Members Lounge Social in August, let’s get together for a coffee and a chat about the women in our family histories.
August is National Family History Month and what better way to celebrate than to focus on the women in our family history: these stories are often elusive and difficult to uncover so let's share them over a coffee together.
Bring along a photograph or other artefact - a family heirloom (whether that be a piece of jewellery, a fabric or a piece of domestic kit), perhaps a ration book - that complements the story of a woman in your family's history.
Our ancestors live on when we share their stories.
