Searching for maps. Searching on maps. Searching when maps.
Do you "get" maps or do you turn the refidex (street directory) around as you navigate? A relevant map can help us track our ancestors, but there are pitfalls. Is there more than one location with the same name, or no locations with that name?
Kerry Raymond guides this session. We will share apps and websites that have been useful in our research. Maybe we will learn a new skill, or just to read the legend. Perhaps someone will be there who has the key to your family history treasure.
Please note. A "Talking About" session is a discussion group where everyone is expected to contribute through sharing their knowledge and experience, through asking questions and/or giving opinions and answers. It is not a presentation. It is open to all levels of experience, no question is too silly to ask.
