THIS EVENT WILL BE HELD ONLINE AND IN PERSON AT THE QFHS FAMILY HISTORY RESEARCH CENTRE i.e. A HYBRID MEETING.
Using case studies from QFHS Research team experience and other resources, we help you chart your way through tricky conundrums encountered in your family history research.
Each family historian faces their own unique problems, but there are some common tools that we can all employ to help unravel the puzzles or break through the brickwalls we face in our journey.
From defining the research question to mind mapping all possible resources that could help us in our quest, we study examples, share issues and learn strategies for dealing with those thorny never-ending dilemmas from the known unknowns (facts we know we don’t know) to the unknown unknowns (even trickier – facts we don’t know that we don’t know!).
