Notes:THIS EVENT WILL BE HELD ONLINE.
Speaker: Nancy Edwards
The best way to preserve your family history is to write about it.
You could write a story for our journal; upload a document to Ancestry; a page on a website such as the Virtual War Memorial, My Primitive Methodists; an entry on Convict Records, Wikipedia and Wikitree; a media output (blog, podcast and YouTube); or a play for your grandchildren to act out.
Talking abouts ... are a chance to engage with like-minded others through questions, answers, and discussion. Do you want to learn more about one of these avenues? Have you already used them? Can you suggest another avenue? Come along and share your experiences. This broad discussion of the avenues open to us and your interests may lead to further Education events.
Please note. A "Talking About" session is a discussion group where everyone is expected to contribute through sharing their knowledge and experience, through asking questions and/or giving opinions and answers. It is not a presentation. It is open to all levels of experience, no question is too silly to ask.
Note: This event is held in QLD time, AEST: no daylight saving. (GMT+10)
