Generally, the Family History Research Centre is dedicated to volunteer tasks on Mondays and Fridays. These days are task orientated but also great for social interaction. Some of the tasks (e.g. digitisation, indexing, Minutes Secretary, communications eg. social media posts) can be done from your home computer
Appropriate training and support will be provided for all volunteer tasks.
You are invited to express interest in a particular role – descriptions are provided for current vacancies – or you may like to volunteer but are unaware of the type of possible roles or tasks needed.
To assist us place you in a role that gives you satisfaction, we will offer some ‘prompts’ to assist you. Please feel free to select one, two, or three areas from the provided prompts.
