Our Family History Research Centre is located at 46 Delaware St, Chermside (or Geebung) in leafy 7th Brigade Park.
Access to the facilities and all the holdings of the Family History Research Centre is free of charge for all financial members. There is a $20 per day charge for non-members or unfinancial members, refundable should you join the Society within two weeks of your visit.

Public transport: Bus routes 336 and 337 stop at the end of the street on Newman Road, 527 metres away. The express bus 325 also stops on Newman Road, a little further away (about 650 metres) near Geebung State School. Look up timetables for these buses here. Also consult the Journey Planner.
Pedestrian and Cycle: A walking and bike path passes the building, linking to the extensive network of such paths across Brisbane and providing a comfortable 30-minute walk from the transport hub at Westfield Chermside.
There is generous off-street parking and additional on-street parking is permitted.
If you are visiting from interstate or New Zealand, you may be able to visit our Family History Research Centre through reciprocal visiting arrangements. See Interstate and NZ Visitors.
Non-members may use our library. We charge a fee $20 per day to allow access to all our collections. Should you wish to join the Society within two weeks of your visit, this fee will be deducted from your first year's subscription.
